After 4 years of scouring the internet, we found the holy grail... a 59' Cadillac... with an engine... with all the glass... not sitting rusting in a field. Purchased in October of 2020, a 1959 Cadillac commercial chassis, was converted by the Miller-Meteor Company into a combination hearse and ambulance. With a model designation of Panoramic Landau Duplex, she was manufactured on February 2nd, 1959. This professional car was continuously used as an ambulance and hearse in a small southern town until sometime in 1971. We joke that it may have picked you up and rushed you to the hospital then later slowly driven you to the cemetery. In 1971 she was parked in a barn for the next 49 years until we found her and had her shipped to Texas for a new life and conversion into ECTO-TX.
